Ask a question out loud and get the answer on screen while you carry on talking. Speech becomes text on the phone, and the answer is written by Apple's on-device model. No account, no API key, no server.

How it works
Tap the circle. Say your question.
LiveAsk hears it, works out an answer, and puts it on screen, while you carry on talking. Install it, tap once, speak, and get an answer, having entered nothing.
It listens
The orb is the one control. It swells with your voice, spins while it thinks, and the whole screen brightens while listening is on.
It spots the question
Apple's speech framework turns your voice into text on the phone. A question detector reads the grammar to decide what you actually asked.
It answers
The answer streams onto a card from Apple's on-device model. Copy it, ask again, or tap the arrow to ask about whatever you just said.

What counts as a question?
Speech recognizers rarely hear a question mark. So LiveAsk reads grammar instead, and errs toward missing a question rather than inventing one. This is its detector, ported to your browser.

Grammar first. Punctuation is a bonus.
"What time does the train leave" comes back flat far more often than not. A missed question costs a tap. An invented one talks over you. Turn on "only obvious questions" in Settings if it jumps in too often.

Your notes
Paste notes or facts. LiveAsk prefers them over what the model already knows, and says so when they don't cover your question.
How it should answer
Add standing instructions, like "answer like a patient tutor, and always give one worked example".
Sessions
Everything you ask is kept on the iPhone. Search questions and answers, rename a session, or share it as Markdown.
Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
A Live Activity shows LiveAsk is listening and how many questions it has answered. Listening keeps going when the screen locks.
Ask what I just said
Turn automatic answers off, or catch one it missed: the arrow button asks about your last sentence.
Your language
Pick any speech language your iPhone supports. Follow-ups like "and the other one?" use recent questions for context.
Privacy
Where your words go.
Settings says this in the app itself, in plain language. No analytics, no accounts, no third-party SDKs, and the app's privacy manifest declares no collected data.
